Here we go folks! The ultimate showdown is upon us! The 2024 NBA finals will feature the Boston Celtics and the Dallas Mavericks. In this highly anticipated matchup Kyrie Irving, one of the biggest villains in sports will once again be facing his former team in the Playoffs. While it may have been short lived Kyrie was once on his way to becoming a Boston sports icon. Since leaving Boston Kyrie has found himself in a constant battle with the Boston faithful, most notably stomping on the Celtics logo and even flipping fans the bird not so discreetly. For the most part Boston has had Kyrie’s number since his departure from the team, however Irving is now playing alongside one of the most electrifying players on the planet in Luka Dončić. That’s right! He couldn’t do it with KD but Kyrie seems to have found his place in Dallas even getting along with some of his teammates. All jokes aside this is gearing up to be an all time matchup and we should all consider ourselves lucky to be able to witness it.
